A new era in internet advertising…
Beta 2 of the Ads for Adobe PDF was released and announced by Adobe Labs in conjunction with the immediate availability of Adobe Reader 9. This opt-in service (powered by Yahoo) aims to monetize PDF documents through advertising. The method is simple and very easy.
The publisher has to upload the pdf document to a specific url to register it for ads. The PDF content is then automatically analyzed to enable relevant ads to be matched to your content. When the keyword validation is finished, the PDF document returns to its sender and it is ready to get published. Then the publisher is eligible to get paid for valid ad clicks.
