		<description>It happens if you move your original media files as well.  Which I sometimes do quite often.  Why?  Because I want to link with other files, not the originals.  You can link any file to any other file in Premiere, as long as the audio has the same number of channels.</description>

After I upgrade my hardware with a new HD (the drive letter was lost)
I had to relink several files of a pproj.

I tried your tip and voila the files imported automatically. 
No more click to link media files, thanks.
